CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE

Usually written as a life insurance policy, Critical Illness insurance pays out lump-sum cash benefits, while living, upon diagnosis of a major heart attack, life-threatening cancer, stroke, and other critical conditions as specified in the policy.  These cash benefits can make it possible to continue to pay your bills, keep your home and replace lost income while undergoing recovery or treatment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Most people assume they have enough life insurance.  Keep in mind, the minimum recommended life insurance is your current income x 10 years.  Therefore, if you currently earn $50,000 per year, the minimum life insurance you should have is $500,000.  This will give your family enough time to adjust and adapt to your absence in the future if necessary, as well as allowing them to continue in the home they know, with the life goals established still in place.
